Every Porsche Panamera is special, but only the new 10 Years Edition celebrates the innovative four-door coupe’s decade of production, and does so in a most beautiful way.
The 2020 Panamera 10 Years Edition boasts a tastefully elegant new White Gold Metallic hue for its exclusive 21-inch Panamera Sport Design alloy wheels, and continues that colour theme over to the front doors where a special “Panamera10” insignia celebrates the occasion. Porsche etches the new logo into the doorsill treadplates too, plus an even more elegant version of the alphanumeric descriptor is set within the instrument panel.
The new 10 Years Edition upgrade can be added to the all-wheel drive Panamera 4 and electrified Panamera 4 E-Hybrid models for 2020, with pricing beginning at $122,000 for the former and $132,700 for the latter. While the model’s launch colour is black, take note that all standard and optional Panamera 4 and 4 E-Hybrid colours are available with the new 10 Years Edition. The same goes for the interior, but you may want to keep its unique black and contrasting White Gold stitching combination intact, as it looks stunning and two-tone colourways normally cost a bit extra.
Speaking of standard features, the new Panamera 4 10 Years Edition also adds LED matrix headlamps, ParkAssist with Surround View, Lane Change Assist with Lane Keep Assist (LKA), 14-way comfort seats with Porsche crests on their headrests, soft-close doors, and a Bose surround-sound audio system, while standard performance features include Porsche’s adaptive three-chamber air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Power Steering Plus. Those opting for the plug-in hybrid will also benefit from a quicker 7.2-kW on-board charging system instead of the usual base 3.6-kW charger.
The Panamera 4 10 Years Edition utilizes the same 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine as the regular Panamera 4 model, which is good for 330 horsepower, while the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid 10 Years Edition features Porsche’s twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V6 combined with an electric motor for a net total of 457 horsepower.
